Requirements

You need	Details
A 64-bit PC (amd64)	Laptop or desktop. UEFI with Secure Boot is supported and recommended; legacy BIOS works.
Disk	24 GB or more. Installing erases the whole target disk.
Memory	2 GB minimum (the installer’s limit); 8 GB recommended.
USB stick	16 GB or more, whose contents you are happy to lose.
The ISO	ArkynOS-2.1.0-amd64.iso, from your private link — see Download.

What has been tested

Every release passes a full install-and-boot test matrix in virtual machines: UEFI with Secure Boot, UEFI without it, and legacy BIOS. Real hardware so far is one ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 (Intel Tiger Lake, Synaptics fingerprint reader) with a Pixel on GrapheneOS.

Other hardware — NVIDIA or AMD graphics, other Wi-Fi chipsets, docks — is untested. If you try it, tell us what you find.

Try it live first

The USB stick boots into a live desktop before anything is installed. If Wi-Fi, keyboard, trackpad, sound and display work there, they will work installed.
